Today, various types of objects can be made by leather cutting; for example for the production of garments and clothing accessories, bags, suitcases, shoes, photo albums, sports equipment, car, plane and boat interiors; leather conveys prestige and elegance. Cutting Trading International has always built and designed leather processing machines. Raptor, our automatic multifunction unit, the only machine designed to quickly switch from cutting leather to cutting fabric, permits performing template positioning operations, unloading cut pieces, repositioning the leather in one station while another piece is being cut in another station. This system is therefore fast and cuts to the utmost the cost of leather cutting. By combining the Digitizer with the Raptor automatic cutting unit, a refined projection structure and dedicated software, optimized for ease of use, a perfect leather cutting line can be created. The simple template (shape) of paper is easily and quickly digitalized with our Electronic Fashion Digitizer, attaching to the acquired document information relating to the model, the number of pieces for the model, and the name of the piece. This information is used by the nesting (projection) program to automate the creation of a different placement for each piece of leather by reducing material waste. Thanks to a handy joystick, the shapes present in the database can be positioned on the leather (on the cutting plane). The placement is then displayed with the help of a video projector or a laser before being cut. The system has been designed to be used by a single operator but, if production has to be increased, the operations can be split up over several stations. We provide solutions for tailored and customized cutting, significantly reducing processing time and material waste. The spreading of fabric and material, the identification of the cutting part and automated and customized solutions ensure greater precision and higher productivity by reducing cutting room costs.
